Checkmark

In April 2006 SoftScan wins the SC Magazine Awards in the categories Best Anti-Spam and Best Email Content Filtering.

In October SoftScan sends the first team of employees to Malaga in Spain, where they fulfil their daily job functions in a fully equipped work environment, however, in a somewhat sunnier climate. In the following weeks more teams are sent to Malaga, and the project is a great success for  employee motivation.

During the year 2006 SoftScan's revenue increases more than 73 percent, while the numbers of employees and customers are doubled. Thus, SoftScan delivers the best result in the history of the company.

2005

SoftScan expands to the UK and hires Phil Watts, a well-known face in the anti-virus industry, to establish a network of resellers. Since then, SoftScan has succeeded in building a network of more than 100 resellers in the UK.

A statement from SoftScan in December 2005 shows that, while the percentage of virus has declined steadily through the year 2005, the amount of spam has increased by 13 percent since 2004. This confirms the fact that the need for effective spam filters is now greater than ever before.
